Terms of Service

Time Hug lets you upload photos and generate an AI image of you hugging your younger self. You buy credits to create images. You must use the service lawfully, only with photos you have the right to use, and only for permitted content.

By using Time Hug, creating an account, or purchasing credits, you agree to these Terms.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you must use the service with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

You are responsible for your account, keeping your login credentials secure, and all activity that happens under your account.

Time Hug sells one-time credits that can be used to generate images. Each generation uses the number of credits shown in the product at the time of purchase or use. Unless we clearly say otherwise, credits are non-transferable, non-refundable, and have no cash value.

Purchases are one-time unless we explicitly offer a subscription product in the future.

You may not upload photos you do not own or have permission to use; create images of someone else without their permission; create, upload, or share sexual, erotic, intimate, nude, or otherwise exploitative content; create content involving minors in a sexualized or inappropriate context; use the service for harassment, abuse, deception, impersonation, scams, illegal activity, or rights violations; or interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, scrape the site, reverse engineer the product, or bypass limits or safety measures.

You represent that you own or control the necessary rights to any photos you upload and that you have permission from any person depicted where required.

You keep ownership of the photos you upload and, to the extent permitted by law, the generated images you create. You give us a limited license to host, process, store, and display your content only as needed to operate, secure, maintain, and provide the service to you, including showing your generated-image history in your account.

Generated images are created by AI and may be imperfect, inaccurate, or unexpected. We do not guarantee that outputs will match your expectations, look identical to real people, or be available forever.

We may review, filter, block, or remove content where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, comply with law, prevent abuse, or protect users and the service.

The service may rely on third-party providers such as hosting, authentication, storage, AI, analytics, and payment processors. Their outages or failures may affect the service.

The Time Hug website, branding, software, design, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not give you ownership of our product, code, or brand.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with or without notice.

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for us or others, or use the service in a prohibited way.

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not make warranties about uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim arose.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
